The TRU-SPEC Mens BDU Coat is a rip-stop nyco made coat that is perfect for military use. It is not insulated, meaning it is meant to be worn over an undershirt. It is easy to wash and dry, as long as you turn it inside out and wash it warm/cold. It’s recommended to give it a very light tumble dry (if at all) and finish by air drying. Always lay the corners flat by hand to maintain its texture. Although the coat will fade after washing multiple times, it will soften greatly with each wash. The sizing on this coat is accurate to the size chart, which adheres to the DoD standards for uniform sizes. It runs a bit larger than expected, so it’s suggested to order one size down if you prefer a snug fit. However, if you prefer a roomy coat, order your true size. Overall, the TRU-SPEC Mens BDU Coat is a great military coat that is authentic and made of quality materials.
