Manic Panic Semi-Permanent Colour I0116398 Editorial Review
The Manic Panic Velvet Violet Pastel Classic Creme hair dye has received a mixed reception from customers. Many users emphasize the importance of proper preparation before application, noting that hair must be significantly lightened — ideally to a near-white state — for the dye to take effectively. Some users who have followed the instructions still reported poor results, with the color failing to adhere unless mixed with a stronger dye or applied on well-decolorized hair. The color itself has been described as beautiful, leaning towards a soft violet with pink undertones. Users praise its vegan and cruelty-free formulation, which makes it a more appealing option for those Conscious about harmful ingredients. The product is also noted for being easy to apply, with a pleasant Consistency that doesn't irritate the scalp or have a strong odor. However, the small size of the 118ml container has drawn criticism, particularly from those with longer or thicker hair who found they needed to purchase multiple tubes to achieve full coverage. Consistency in coloring and retention over time have also been points of concern, with some users opting for other brands that offer better longevity and results. In summary, while the Manic Panic Velvet Violet hair dye is appreciated for its ethical formula and aesthetic appeal, potential buyers should ensure their hair is prepared adequately to avoid disappointment regarding color payoff and longevity. **
