About This Item
Introducing the Arisaka Optic Leveler Combo - the perfect tool for effortlessly leveling scopes mounted in rings or one-piece mounts. This inexpensive and user-friendly device ensures that your scope is properly aligned, ensuring optimal accuracy for your shooting experience. The Arisaka Optic Leveler features a base plate that sits securely on the Picatinny rail or one-piece mount, just below the turret cluster of your scope. This base plate is designed to engage with the provided wedges, creating a level surface for your scope.
As the 11-degree ramped surfaces of the wedge and base come into contact, the top of the wedge rises and automatically levels the turret cluster. Included in this combo package are the leveler base and both small and large wedges. The small wedge is ideal for spaces between the rail/mount and turret cluster ranging from 0.190 to 0.730, while the large wedge is perfect for spaces between 0.680 to 1.200. With these options, you can achieve precise leveling based on your scope's specific requirements. Using the Arisaka Optic Leveler is simple.
First, secure your scope in the rings or one-piece mount, ensuring it can still be rotated by hand. Then, place the leveler base on the Picatinny rail or one-piece mount below the turret cluster, with the angled slot facing upwards. Insert the leveler wedge into the slot from the side until it contacts the bottom of the turret cluster.
Apply gentle pressure to the wedge until the scope rotates and becomes level. Tighten one scope ring according to the manufacturer's torque specifications, remove the optic leveler, and then tighten the other ring in the same manner. Please note that the Arisaka Optic Leveler assumes that your scope's turret cluster and reticle are already aligned. If you are using a poor-quality scope, this may not be the case.
However, for high-quality scopes, this tool is essential for achieving precise alignment and maximum accuracy. Crafted from durable 6061 clear anodized aluminum, this optic leveler is built to withstand the rigors of regular use in the field.
