Respuesta: The fan is not really designed to have a speed controller, so it makes a buzzing noise when run slowly. The noise does diminish after the fan runs at the lower RPM for a few weeks. -

I have a big 3/4 horse fan and the variable switch and small circuit board burned out. Could this be used to control my speed and bypass the other?
Respuesta: MAY NOT WORK. A 3/4 motor draws lots of AMPs. The motor should have a plate stating starting AMP and running AMP. If only running AMP, I multiply X 1.3. -
