It is a patch panel where all cables get terminated and then can connect to various devices through patch cables. The product is not 12ghz rated but works well with 50-ohm cables and RG-11 cables. It works with HD-SDI cables but is better paired with Isolated BNC coaxial panels for HD-SDI cables. It is well made and has a sturdy framework. Despite being a bit too close for comfort connection-wise, this device is easy to install and offers great value for its purpose.
