How do I properly use the Norpro Canning Jar Lifter?

To use the Norpro Canning Jar Lifter, first ensure that the gripping jaws are fully opened. Carefully position the lifter's jaws over the neck of the jar, ensuring a firm grip on the jar's sides. Once secured, gently pull the lifter handle up to lift the jar, keeping it vertical as you remove it from the water bath. This method allows for safe transportation to a cooling area. Using the lifter this way minimizes the risk of burns and increases control, making the canning experience much smoother.
