    Respuesta: My lid does snap into place, though the snapping is not very loud, and stays on well. However, the little pointy plastic stick that comes in the packaging (which I use to clean the sharpener) falls out all the time. I keep the whole sharpener in the little box it came in in order to ensure that everything stays together and I don't lose that little stick. Good luck!
