The Be Strong: Daily Devotional for Men Paperback by Anders Bennett is a highly recommended devotional book for men. It Consists of 365 entries, one for each day of the year, with each entry starting with a passage from the Bible. The devotional is structured like most other devotionals with daily lessons that make it easy to follow despite how busy men can get. The chosen scriptures provide good advice and personal honesty. The book is tailored for men but can also be useful for women as well. There are some verses that can be useful for women especially for relationships. The daily readings are short and concise, making it easy to fit into a busy schedule. The book is divided into sections and specific goals or situations like the importance of prayer, which are further broken down with the help of relevant quotes, scenarios, and closing prayers that really round out the takeaway message. Some criticisms are that some sentences were awkwardly worded, and cliches were used in some of the explanations, which took away from the encouraging tone that the devotionals tried to accomplish and maintain. Also, there were some inConsistent capitalization errors, especially in the provided Bible verses. However, it is still a valuable guide and tool that God can use to speak to men -- and anyone else He wants to speak to. This devotional is a great gift for any men in your life.
