The Retro-Bit BIG6 Controller Pad for SEGA Genesis has received mixed reviews from customers. Those who found the product to be of high quality and comfortable to use praised its build quality and elongated cord. However, there were some complaints about the flawed C button, which made the larger version of the controller unusable. Some also reported that the controller did not work with the Analogue Mega SG. In terms of design, some customers appreciated the larger size of the controller and its blend of features from the boomerang shaped model 1 and the 6-button model 2.
