The microphone can be removed from its tripod and is compatible with microphone stands. It is powered via a USB cable and is not compatible with Xbox One. The microphone does not come with a quarter inch cord. It can be used for speech to text if the appropriate software is available. Overall, it is a good product, but there are some issues with interference and fragility.
