This kit includes a vacuum-rated valve core removal tool and six-foot, 3/8"FL to 1/4"FL, 1/2" diameter black hose. The hose is vacuum-certified and allows up to 16x more flow than 1/4" hose. This makes evacuations up to 10x faster and vacuum-rated to 20 microns. Every hose is evacuated and tested after production, ensuring customer satisfaction. The core remover tool does not have magnetic ends, but it holds the Schrader core, ensuring it does not fall off. One side of the hose has a 1/4" fitting that fits the valve core remover or the king valve itself. The other end is 3/8" and will fit the larger port of the vacuum. The hose is 60" long, and the ends are of different sizes. While the hose can be used for refrigerant recovery, it is advisable to keep the vacuum and refrigerant hoses separate. You would also need an adapter for your recovery machine to fit the 3/8" end. The refrigerant oils that would build up inside the hose can cause a problem with pulling a good vacuum or clog up your micron gauge.
