LFACHTER Electronic Early Development Toys Editorial Review
**** The Electric Crawling Octopus Toy, affectionately dubbed "Mister Squilliam GOLD" by some enthusiastic parents and caregivers, has captured the hearts of children and adults alike. This vibrant toy—featuring LED lights and surrounding itself in melodious tunes—amuses toddlers with its engaging movements and smart obstacle avoidance capabilities. Its ability to navigate around furniture by backing up and changing direction adds an element of excitement to playtime. Parents have noted the battery life as a strong point; it generally lasts well through play sessions, making it an enduring source of entertainment. Several reviews mention the durability of the toy, describing how it withstands rough treatment—whether being thrown across the room or enduring playful bites from curious pets. Many parents find themselves pleasantly surprised at the octopus's multifunctionality, as it can aid in developing motor skills in younger children and holding the attention of older siblings. While the toy is praised for its interactive nature, one common concern is its music volume. A number of users describe it as overly loud for both children and adults, reducing playtime enjoyment, especially in quieter environments. Fortunately, the ability to toggle the sound on or off is noted as a significant plus. As a whole, the Electric Crawling Octopus seems to be a major hit in households, actively engaging children while fostering developmental skills, all at an affordable price point. Its blend of entertainment and educational value makes it a prime choice for gift-giving—many users have found themselves purchasing additional units for siblings or parties, highlighting its impact on indoor play and childhood joy. **
