- Non-polarized FLT lenses by Method Seven are the first to offer notch filtering in lightweight, shatterproof lens. Constructed from a durable polymer with dual high-quality coatings, FLT lenses are at the cutting edge of aviation optics. Enhanced contrast, clarity and performance.
- Hand crafted from durable TR90 thermoplastic, known for being lightweight and flexible.
- Precision optics designed specifically for aviators featuring notch filtering technology for contrast, clarity, and performance that is second to none. Each lens option utilizes special thin-film coating technologies to dial in specific amounts of visible light (VLT) suited to pilot preferences and light levels for typical routes. The FLT18 (Medium) lens has a VLT similar to the FAA recommended VLT of 15 and is a great choice for mixed conditions.
- Rubberized temple pads prevent slippage even under high G-forces.
- Blocks UV & infrared heat, keeping eyes cool and moist even in the brightest cockpit lighting conditions. Notch filtering technology balances color and allows use with cell phones or other screens while providing protection, making this lens superior to others on the market.
