The Army Painter CP3003 Editorial Review
The Army Painter Anti-Shine Matt Varnish has received a largely positive response from customers who appreciate its functionality and application ease. Users have highlighted that the varnish is straightforward to use, providing a quick-drying, matte finish ideal for miniatures. Many report the application process mirrors that of the Army Painter primer, making it familiar for those already in the hobby. While the product does emit a noticeable odor, it is best used in well-ventilated areas, a common recommendation among users. The varnish effectively reduces glossy finishes imparted by prior coatings, which is particularly valued by those who strive for a matte aesthetic in their models. Importantly, users should take care to ensure that their paint is completely dry before application and should avoid over-spraying to prevent a greyish hue. However, some reviews mention inConsistencies in the spray pattern, suggesting that while the effect is satisfactory, the application technique may take some practice to master. Compared to other brands, a few customers noted that the Army Painter product didn't reach the same level of quality as competitors like Windsor & Newton, but for the cost and performance, it remains a solid choice for hobbyists looking to protect their miniatures effectively. **
